Playgroup
We welcome children from home to a physically beautiful, emotionally supportive, and carefully structured home-like environment. Warm, home-like classrooms and a beautifully laid-out play yard provide the setting for the playgroup day. Play materials, such as cloths, wooden animals, felt props and puppets, shells, rocks, and other natural materials, are carefully chosen to stimulate creativity.
There is an emphasis on simplicity, homeliness, repetition, imitation, and imagination. A Playgroup daily rhythm includes:
- Circle time: good morning, songs and verses, rhythm games, and ring games.
- Artistic activity: watercolor painting, crayon drawing, play dough modeling, and weaving simple home crafts.
- Storytelling
- Outside play
- Nature walk and care of plants
- Mealtime
- Afternoon nap time
- The children help in caring for the classroom and toys and often take part in snack preparation.
Children learn to be part of a group, interact positively with others, elevated confidence in language and communication. As they grow to 3 years old, the children can grasp introductory arithmetic concepts.

Pre Primary
Pre-primary – PP1 (4 – 5+ years)
Children at age 4 are enthusiastically advancing their development in exciting and challenging ways. They enjoy lots of stories and start to advance in literacy, math and science as well as other essential areas such as art, social and emotional well-being and wellness.
Drama and role plays is emphasized as activities that develop confidence in use of language and strong self-concept.
Pre-primary – PP 2 (5 – 6+ years)
At age 5, the children thrive in environments that allow them to explore. They are ready to learn more abstract concepts and are challenged by opportunities to ask questions, to seek solutions, and to solve problems independently.
As a reception class, children learn to read and communicate their thoughts through simple writing. There is a strong emphasis on hearing, listening, speaking beautifully, and well-articulated language with a rich vocabulary. A firm foundation is laid for further work in language arts, math and science skills in further grades.
A toddler’s day consists of:
- Self-selected play
- Reading books
